The holidays are coming up and that means tons of sales at my favorite stores! One of the very best of these sales is the yearly Sephora Holiday Event which gives VIPs 20% off and Beauty Insiders 15% off pretty much everything including brands like Dior and YSL. The sale runs from November 10-15 and the coupon code can be used multiple times during the sale period. Normally, make up and perfume is excluded from sale events so getting 15-20% off is a BIG DEAL. That's why I use this event to stock up on some of my everyday make up.
But wait, don't get too excited. Remember, a lot of make up like mascara and lipsticks expire within a few months so don't stock up on things that you don't use often. I find that a lot of pressed powders and liquid lipsticks stay good for a bit longer so those are the things I'll buy doubles of. I also use this time to buy things I've been eyeing but hesitating to buy simply because it's a lot easier to buy an item you've wanted to try when it's on sale! Finally, this is a opportunity to snag early gifts for the Holidays and buy your loved ones perfume or stocking stuffers they are sure to LOVE!

L'Occitane Hand Cream in Lavender (my absolute favorite go to hand cream in the winter in an incredible relaxing scent)

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks in: Wifey, Crush, Trophy Wife, Material Girl (these are new colors I want to try because I just LOVE the Huda Beauty formula)
YSL Rouge Pur Contour Dazzling Lights Holiday Kiss Collection in Rose Stiletto (I always allow my self to splurge on one new lipstick color per holiday season so this is the one I chose this time around! Keeping my fingers crossed)
TARTE Limited Edition Artful Brush Set (I really need new travel brushes and this seems like a great value wrapped in a gorgeous presentation so I am excited to try it out!)
L'Occitaine Shower Oil with Almond (I just love L'Occitaine products but have never used their bath line so I am going to start with this one since it's decently priced!)

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mini (this is the perfect holiday stuffer for someone who's never tried liquid matte lipsticks!)
Huda Beauty Dessert Dusk (I've been wanting this new shadow palatte because it's so stunning but I really only wear 2-3 matte eye shadow colors rarely on weekends so wasn't able to justify this purchase for myself but I am buying as a gift for someone special!)
Sephora Favorites Perfume Sampler (this is a genius gift idea by Sephora. They gather samples from the best selling perfumes and you buy the set for $65 and gift it to someone. They smell them all, chose their favorite and then trade in the coupon included in the set for a full size version of their choice! It's SUCH a good idea because perfume gifts are the best but everyone is so particular about the scents they like! MEN if you don't know what to get for a woman in your life THIS is a good option)
Sephora Favorites Lashes (same idea as above but for mascara. This is a good option for yourself too because you can try out the mascaras before committing to a full size one. Plus you get to keep all the other samples. Perfect to keep a mascara in your travel or gym bag!)
