Face: Any 1 product that can be used for multiple purposes is a huge WINNER for me because it keeps my make up routine quick and easy especially helpful on busy days. I am a big fan of BB cream because it’s moisturizing AND gives me some coverage without feeling like I have 3 pounds of make up on. I have been using the Laura Mercier tinted cream for years and love it. It has SPF 15 in it which is a big plus. I’ve recently transitioned to IT Cosmetics CC cream (shade is a mix of the medium in the matte + medium in the illuminating cream which lightens the overall shade for me) and I am really in love. It has cut out powder from my daily make up. All I use is a bit of cc cream, bronzer and I am DONE! They have a brand new super matte version if you are on the oily skin side.
If you still need a little powder coverage, Make Up Forever pressed powder is my go to. I wear it in a shade 117. It feels super light and it doesn't do you dirty when you take a picture using your camera's flash (you know what I am talking about).
Eyes | Can’t go without deep black waterproof eye liner you guys! That’s my #1 secret weapon to looking fresh and awake even if you’re running on little sleep. My absolute favorite that I’ve loved for years is Make Up Forever. Can be used both to line your lid and on your waterline. My favorite mascara at the time is my Lancome Drama lash. I usually switch every 2-3 months to a new brand. I find it keeps my eyelashes more dramatic when they're not "used" to one specific mascara (or maybe I am delusional).
Skincare | I am usually out of the house for at least 12 hours with a full face of make up so my nighttime routine is absolutely essential to reverse all the damage from the day. The Foreo LUNA cleansing device is literally a miracle worker. Of course, every week I also use a mask. Origins Charcoal mask will forever be my go to. It makes my skin feel like butter afterwards. And who doesn't love butter? I follow up with my favorite Vitamin C serum. If you are new to skincare and want to try a line that's already in a bundle for you try the L’Occitane products from the Divine line. I used to use them exclusively but more recently I've changed it up by adding products from a bunch of different lines to fit my skincare needs (post about this coming soon!)
Under eyes: this deserves it's own category because we ALL need some under eye help. Below is my favorite from Origins. On special occasions, I'll use the new IT Cosmetics under-eye illuminating cream.
Hair | if you haven't tired MoroccanOil products you are missing out. I absolutely LOVE their line for my hair. Especially obsessed with their oil and texturizing spray. Living Proof Full Shampoo & Conditioner is amazing if you have thin hair so that's my usual shower routine.
Lips | My absolute FAVORITE lip is Huda Beauty's liquid matte lipsticks. You guys KNOW I am always raving about them. Huda is a boss babe but I swear she doesn't pay me to say this. Her matte lipsticks are amazing and they last all day without feeling sticky or cracking your lips. My everyday shade I take 90% of my photos in is "Gossip Girl". I also own and love: Wifey, Bombshell, Trophy Wife, Medusa, Video Star. Right now my darker favorite that a lot of you have complemented me on is: Famous. Planning to get a few more!
Brows | I am obsessed with the Anastasia Brow Wiz. No surprise. It's easy to use and gives you consistently amazing results time and time again so why find another one? The only problem I have is the brush on the other end of the pen ALWAYS breaks after 2-3 uses.
BONUS Smart Holiday Shopper: Sephora Favorites offers the perfect gifts for those who have NO idea what to get someone but also don't like the impersonal idea of cash or gift card. Sephora top choice sample box is a really good gift because it offers free samples in a bunch of different categories (mascara, perfume, cologne, hair, skincare, etc) along with a certificate for a full sized product to trade in. So, you can try out all the different samples and then chose the one you love most so you can get a full sized version of that item. It essentially gives someone the option of choosing their own gift but in a more fun way. I love this option for the holidays and often chose these gift sets for co-workers, friends and that family member who's always super picky.
